Blether with Brown: Long overdue Morgan reunion deemed a great success
ByJohn Brown
Raymond Harris skippered the Morgan FP team which won the Midlands Amateur FA First Division league title 20 years ago.
“We recently had a reunion in Clark’s On Linday Street,” he revealed.
“This is the only time so far in the clubs near-90-year history this has happened.
“It made for a great night for all concerned.”
Raymond sent in a photo of the team (top) which won that title but did comment that there were a couple of first-team regulars who couldn’t make it for the photo-shoot.
He also sent in a cover of a booklet (above) brought out to celebrate their 70th anniversary some 20 years ago.
