Davie Watson, from Canada, who entered a recent debate on school cup finals, has added further information and came up with another photo of the school team.
“I found this picture and it might solve a query on at least one of these cup finals, which were featured in BwB on October 28 and December 2,” said Davie.
“It is of the Butterburn team which played against SS Peter and Paul in a cup final at Tannadice in, I believe, 1957-58, the Paulies winning 2-1.
“As I was born in 1947, I think I might have been a year younger than the rest of the lads as you can see by my size.
“Indeed, I might even have played in the Rockwell final a year later.
