Blether with Brown: Can you name the Dundee stars?

Tommy Mylles, who is managing director of All Timberlines Ltd in Dyce, Aberdeenshire, has sent in a picture of Dundee players at what looks like pre-season training in the late 1950s.

“I am sure the manager is Bob Shankly and I also recognise Albert Henderson, who I knew very well.

“However, I would like to know, out of interest, if anyone could name the rest of the players.

“I really enjoy your feature and often see old faces from my playing days in the Tayside area.

“Keep up the good work.”

I can pick out Bobby Cox (far left), Pat Liney (fourth from left) and Doug Cowie (second right) but the others escape me.
