Lochee United JFC secretary Larry Duncan is seeking help from BwB readers.
The Thomson Park side, formed in 1892, recently received a request, via their website, for information regarding Swedish club Ahlafors IF, who are celebrating their centenary this month.
It came from the Scandinavian club’s secretary Karina Larsson.
She said: “Our club was founded in 1913, and we know it was a bunch of Scotsmen from Dundee who taught them how to play the game.
“They were here in 1907 to install some machines.
“They may have worked for Keiller’s and, since you started in 1892, maybe they were some of your predecessors?”
