It was as far back as May 10 that P Ward’s photo of St Clement’s FC was featured.
Peter, at the time, looked for clarification on the team’s name, and whether they were a Dundee team or a Kent-based outfit.
BwB readers quickly established they were a local side and were, indeed, called St Clement’s.
Isobel Finnigan, of Clepington Road, Dundee, is the latest to take this tale on further.
She has supplied a further photo, taken at the same time, of the St Clement’s team but this time with their committee and office-bearers around them.
“My brother Willie Heron played for St Clement’s,” said Isobel.
“I recognised the photo when it appeared in BwB and knew I had a copy.
“I’ve an old suitcase with loads of black-and-white photos in it and soon came across it, in addition to the other one I’ve sent in, with their committee men.
“Willie, who also boxed in the old booths in Dundee, is fourth from right in the middle row.
“There’s also my cousin Willie Black, and he’s in first place in the top row.
“I also recognise Willie’s pal Tommy Cadenhead, who is fifth from left in the middle row.”
