Broughty Ferry’s Fergus Baird, who frequents the Fisherman’s Tavern in the town, sent in a photo of Wallacetown Primary School football team around 1955.
Fergus is in the team and is sitting in the old right-wing position (front row, immediate left).
“I’m afraid I don’t know much about most of the players,” said Fergus, who works as a financial adviser with Albion Financial Solutions in Dundee.
“I met Graham Foy recently, and goalkeeper Dave Lemon possibly went to Australia.
“Jimmy Milne (back row, immediate right) was nicknamed ‘Tiddler’ not sure why!
“Most of the team at that time stayed in and around the Victoria Street, Lyon Street and Crescent Street areas.”
