Frank Jordan read Rob Boag’s observation and plea regarding a sports history gallery at the Dundee V&A.
And the Tele’s water polo and swimming correspondent totally agrees with his fellow-Dundonian.
“As men and women from Dundee through the years have won many outstanding events, over the years I’ve tried to get a hall of fame or a sports gallery for Dundonians,” revealed Frank.
“I have met councillors and even mentioned it at the City Chambers but no luck.
“I’m sure if this was to happen in Dundee it would generate a great deal of interest for Dundonians and tourists.
“I’ve been in various countries and they never forget their sports personalities who have brought honours to their city or town.
“Dundee have many from team events to individuals.”
