A discussion at Dundee University will highlight the role it is playing in developing drugs to tackle infectious diseases.
The university’s role in preventing the global rise in drug-resistance will also be explored by Mike Ferguson, regius professor of life sciences, at the next Saturday Evening Lecture later this month.
Professor Ferguson will show how the world-leading Drug Discovery Unit (DDU) bridges the gap between academic, scientific research and drug discovery and development.
Professor Ferguson’s lecture takes place on Saturday May 14 at 6pm in the Dalhousie Building.
This is a free event and everyone is welcome. Due to limited seating, those interested in attending are encouraged to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
