Police have released CCTV images of a man in connection with a serious assault on a Dundee University student.
The man, officers believe may be called “Matty”, is being sought after a student was taken to hospital in May following an assault outside the DUSA student union.
The unnamed victim was treated for a serious facial injury.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “The incident occurred on the grass area outside the union at around 1.30am and the victim sustained a serious facial injury requiring hospital treatment.
“Police officers are keen to speak to the man shown in the images as they believe that he may be able to assist with their inquiries.
“He is described as being five foot seven inches in height, with dark short hair and at the time of the incident, he was wearing a navy blue shirt with white t-shirt underneath, dark navy jeans and navy blue trainers with a white rim. He may be known as ‘Matty’.”
