A St Andrews University graduate’s bucket list wish to destroy cancer was shared by students who walked in her memory.
Ellie MacDonald was only 23 years old when she lost her fight with cancer, just weeks after receiving her degree.
She had bravely written a list of things she wanted to do before she died, and on Saturday more than 100 students walked nine miles from Cambo Estate to St Andrews in honour of her number one wish.
Saturday’s walk, joined by Ellie’s mum Michelle, was a flagship event for the 1 Million Miles for Ellie appeal to raise £1 million for cancer charities.
It was organised by members of the Don’t Walk fashion show and St Andrews Charity Fashion Show committees.
