Dundee University students celebrated Holi, the festival of colours and love, on Saturday.
The vibrant festivities, which originate in India and Nepal as a Hindu celebration, signify the victory of good over evil, the end of winter and the arrival of spring.
It also offers a chance to meet others, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships.
Holi can also be celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest. Students took part in the festival at Belmont Green, throwing coloured powder at each other.
