Winter is coming to Dundee tonight with a Game of Thrones-inspired rave.
The Rave of Thrones toga party, which is being brought to Dundee University’s DUSA The Union for its Tuesday night Skint event, will start at 10pm.
Staying true to the source material of A Song and Ice and Fire by George R R Martin, the venue will bring in both snow and flame machines.
Organisers have also promised “bespoke decor” to match that from the hit HBO series, one of the biggest TV shows in history.
UV cannons and CO2 jets are also being brought in for the evening, with a prize being offered for the best dressed in a toga.
DUSA student president, Sean O’Connor, said: “Grab your nearest bed sheet and make a toga for Rave of Thrones, the latest must-attend event at DUSA The Union, Dundee’s safest nightclub where all profits are reinvested to enhance student voice, support and experience.”
Announcing the Rave of Thrones on Facebook with a reference to the show, Dusa the Union said: “The long night is coming, and the rave comes with it.
“No clan can stop them, the free folk can’t stop them, the Night’s Watch can’t stop them and all the southern kings can’t stop them.”
Season seven of Game of Thrones concluded last month.
