A charity abseil event from Dundee University’s Tower Building at the weekend has so far raised £10,000 for Marie Curie.
The organisation, which provides care and support to people with terminal illnesses and their families, organises the event yearly as a fundraiser.
This year 63 people took part, including Dundee United FC’s CEO Mal Brannigan, who turned up without any intention to take the plunge but was convinced to do so.
The money raised will pay for 500 hours of free professional end-of-life nursing care.
