Two pupils had to be rescued from a lift at a Perthshire secondary school on Thursday afternoon after getting stuck in the elevator for nearly 40 minutes.
The students at Blairgowrie High School got trapped just after 4pm and weren’t released until nearly 5pm when they were brought to safety by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
An SFRS spokesperson said: “The call came in a t 4.18pm and they left about 4.55pm.
“It was two children stuck in a lift at the school.
“They’ve managed to get them out and there’s no injuries reported.”
The children appear to have got stuck in the lift as a parents’ night began at the school.
