Dundee schoolchildren have helped create a Christmas bauble quest to support city centre traders.
Giant baubles have been decorated by pupils at 29 schools and will be hidden in shops throughout the Wellgate Shopping Centre.
From Saturday families will be challenged to find all the baubles and crack a code.
There will also be prizes for the three schools judged to have come up with the best designs.
The bauble quest was devised by local gift company MadeAt94 to boost footfall in the shopping centre and raise awareness of sponsors and provide a festive activity for families.
Kevin Matthew, who owns MadeAt94 with wife Sam, is delighted with the artistic efforts of children involved.
He said: “The quality of design produced by the schools has blown both Sam and myself away.
“This is what it’s all about, giving schools the opportunity to get creative with their children and to get as many kids as possible involved.”
The couple worked with Dundee city centre manager Gaynor Sullivan, Dundee Loves Local and Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce to create the trail.
The 29 baubles will be installed in the ground floor of the centre in the area near the escalators.
Quest guides will be distributed through schools this week.
