A video apparently showing Tulloch Primary School staff mocking a pupil is under investigation.
The clip shared on social media shows several women singing and apparently laughing about and imitating a named child.
It appears to have been filmed by one of a handful of people at a party in someone’s home.
Parents have voiced their fury at the footage, and some people called for those involved to be sacked.
Perth and Kinross Council confirmed it is investigating the incident and apologised for any offence caused.
Investigation
One parent who shared the 15-second video on social media described the behaviour as “disgusting” and said: “Supposed to be safeguarding and teaching our children appropriate behaviour.”
In reference to the recent pay increase won by teachers, someone else said: “This group don’t deserve their pay rise or to work with the wonderful kids at the school. Shame on them.”
A Perth and Kinross Council spokesperson said: “We are aware of a video being circulated on social media.
We apologise for any offence caused.”
