School prom is a rite of passage as young people come to the end of their school days and prepare for the next stage of their lives.
On Saturday night it was the turn of St John’s High School’s Class of ’23.
Classmates from the Dundee secondary gathered at a leavers dance in the city’s Invercarse Hotel to celebrate finishing exams and to say farewell to friends they had grown up with before moving on to university, college, work or elsewhere.
Dressed to the nines in outfits many had been planning for weeks, they arrived in style for a night never to be forgotten.
And as they enjoyed one last hurrah with school chums, our photographer was there to capture the special occasion.
St John’s High School‘s event is featured in our Class of ’23 series, in which we are showcasing pictures from some of the leavers proms and dances for secondary schools across Tayside and Fife.
