A Hollywood A-lister has praised Mearns school pupils for an anti-bullying video which uses a song from one of his hit movies.
As reported in the Evening Express, actor Hugh Jackman hailed youngsters from Dunnottar School in Stonehaven for their cover of A Million Dream, which featured in blockbuster hit The Greatest Showman.
Primary seven pupils performed the song as part of their Choose Kindness campaign, with the video showing a youngster standing up to bullies in different scenarios.
Jackman has starred as Wolverine in the X-Men franchise and has also appeared in the likes of Les Miserables, The Prestige, Real Steel and Prisoners.
The Australian actor tweeted: “Thank you ALL for sharing this special video with a very important message.”
Dunnottar Primary head teacher Lisa Williams said: “The staff and pupils have been really excited to see that Hugh Jackman has given his approval to our message.”
