Aberfeldy Festival has gained a reputation for showcasing a host of Scottish talent, with artists, musicians, writers and actors performing throughout the weekend.
Now in its seventh year, the festival has expanded its reach internationally, with lyrical indie rockers Clem Snide, from Boston, appearing tonight, while Rhode Island’s Arc Iris top the bill tomorrow.
Meanwhile, author Ian Rankin will give a talk about his new book tonight at 8.30pm in Aberfeldy Town Hall.
Festival organiser Ryan Hannigan, who will perform with his band Star Wheel Press on Saturday, says: “Ian is a massive fan of the festival and every year makes the time to help curate it.
“He has such a busy schedule but he comes along, off his own back, to show his support. And this year, the line-up is the strongest yet.”
Other Scottish highlights include tonight’s headliner Emma Pollock, Kid Canaveral and De Rosa.
