Watch: Trailer emerges for final series of Broadchurch

The third and last series of acclaimed UK drama Broadchurch is on its way and the trailer has finally arrived.

The clip welcomes back Jodie Whittaker, Andrew Buchan and Arthur Darvill, as well as lead stars Olivia Colman and David Tennant.

Detective duo Hardy and Miller will return to screens as they take on a new crime story.

Viewers can expect to see an expanded ensemble cast as Lenny Henry and Sarah Parish are set to appear.

The drama has taken on international appeal since the first series was screened in 2013, with Tennant going so far as to reprise the role for an American remake called Gracepoint.

Broadchurch creator Chris Chibnall is set to take over the keys to the TARDIS from departing Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat. Chibnall’s debut series as writer and executive producer will be screen next year.
