Edinburgh natives Liimo, who released their brand new single ‘Old School’ through B-Unique Records on November 29, play The Hunter S Thompson in Dundee on December 18 and PJ Molloys, Dunfermline, on December 21.
Speaking about the new R’n’B infused pop jam single, Liimo’s frontman Kieran said: “It’s about that classic, 90’s romcom kind of love. You know, how it used to be; not that love at first swipe kind of thing. And it’s getting colder, we wanted to bring out a track that made people get a little closer.”
With over 1.5 million streams across all platforms and a Best New Pop play by BBC Radio 1’s Adele Roberts, things are really building for Liimo.
‘Old School’ picks up from the London based Scottish trio’s previous singles If You Love Me, Pink In Heaven, Get Weird featuring LA artist Lizzy Land and their debut single Pineapple Radio.
Liimo’ (meaning a little bit more) have already picked up tastemaker support from EARMILK, The 405, CLASH who hailed their debut single “An intoxicating beginning”, Record of the Day, Euphoria Magazine, Born Music, When The Horn Blows to name a few.
Liimo recently covered ‘Usher’s U Remind Me’ for Mahogany’s COVERS sessions.
Liimo are on tour this December including a number of dates across Scotland and beyond. Heading into 2020 they continue on the live front supporting LA alt rock band The Mowglis across the UK from January 14 to 24 inclusive.
