They were once described by Classic Rock magazine as “setting the blues world on fire”.
And now multi-award winning Scottish blues band King King are coming to Fife as part of a UK and European tour.
Alan Nimmo (vocals/guitar), Lindsay Coulson (bass), Wayne Proctor (drums), and Bob Fridzema (keys) have been on the rise for more than six years.
Their fan base grew after their live debut shook the Monaghan Blues Festival in 2010.
They were inducted into the British Blues Awards Hall of Fame in 2015 having won the ‘best band’ category in the competition for three years in a row (2012, 2013, 2014)
What’s more, the band scooped several more awards at the 2014 British Blues Awards including “Band of the Year”, “Album of the Year”, “Male Vocal of the Year”, “Bass Player of the Year” and “Drummer of the Year”.
