Glasgow-raised Frankie Boyle has come a long way since the time he got his big break performing at The Stand Comedy Club in Edinburgh.
He became known for his morbid form of humour as a regular on TV show Mock the Week, going on to appear on shows such as Live at the Apollo, Live Floor Show and Have I Got News For You.
Now the 44-year-old ‘King of Darkness’ is bringing his comedy night ‘Frankie Boyle & Friends’ to Dundee Rep Theatre.
Boyle, whose shows are not for the faint hearted or easily offended, established himself as one of the best comedians in the country.
And he will be joined by, amongst others, Perth’s very own comedy legend Fred MacAuley – himself well known on the comedy circuit and as a panellist on satire shows.
Also on the bill is Scott Gibson who is regarded by many to be the best act to emerge from Scotland in years.
