The annual Auchmithie heritage and art festival celebrating a thousand years of history took place in fine weather over the weekend.
Visitors enjoyed a host of re-enactments and exhibits in art venues across the coastal village near Arbroath.
Heritage Arts Auchmithie Residents (HAAR) is a charitable organisation, supported by Angus Council.
The arts and heritage festivals combined this year, with 15 art venues open throughout the village on Saturday and Sunday, with scenes from its history played out on the first day.
The village archive collection was on display in the church and refreshments were available in the hall.
