Council bosses are preparing to reveal a shortlist of designs for the long-awaited revamp of Perth City Hall.
The historic venue, which has stood empty for more than a decade, is being transformed as part of a £30 million shake-up of the city’s cultural assets.
Earlier this year, Perth and Kinross Council launched an international contest to find an architect to lead the project.
A similar competition was held to select the designer of Dundee’s V&A.
At midday on Monday, the local authority will open an exhibition showing the five shortlisted concepts. Check back to The Courier’s website later today for a full rundown of all the finalists.
Feedback from members of the public will be used to inform a final decision, to be taken later this summer.
If all goes to plan, the building could be ready for 2021 – the UK City of Culture year.
