Dundee Fashion Week kicked off in style on Monday night at a special launch event in the city centre.
The celebration of cutting edge design, art and clothing will see some of the best and brightest talents on the city scene display their work and ideas.
The DC Thomson Meadowside office hosted an invitation-only launch party on Monday night with a Malmaison-inspired cocktail and canapes evening to begin a week-long programme of events
On Wednesday, Millars of Broughty Ferry will host a fashion trade evening where people will be able to meet high fashion brand reps who will discuss upcoming trends and industry secrets.
The Overgate centre will host a style studio evening on Thursday, with local fashion bloggers Helen and Kimberley of Wardrobe Conversations discussing the trends we will be clamouring for this spring and summer.
The shopping centre will also host an exhibit by Dundee jewellery designer Genna Delaney on Saturday.
The Dundee University graduate will lead a 3D printing course, showcasing how modern technology can be used to develop striking accessories and costume jewellery.
Bespoke tailor David Alexander and dress-maker Karen Hamilton will run a workshop featuring hand crafted fashion pieces at an event in the McManus galleries on Saturday.
In addition to their exhibits the pair will take people through the basic principles of fashion design, pattern-making, and garment construction.
They will be joined by Samantha McEwan, who is behind the cult Dundee fashion label Isolated Heroes at the daytime event.
Samantha recently designed garments worn by pop stars Paloma Faith, Miley Cyrus, Kate Nash and Pixie Lott.
The Steeple Church will hold a premier screening of fashion documentary Style In The City on Saturday between 1pm and 4pm.
The film includes interviews with some of the city’s best-known faces, including Lorraine Kelly, as well as members of the public sharing their thoughts on what influences their style and fashion choices.
Rounding off the week will be a Fashion Finale catwalk show at Caird Hall.
Tickets for the runway show cost ÂŁ10 and are available from the Dundee Box Office.
They will also allow entry to an after-party cocktail event at Malmaison.
