A family of heavy metal cows have taken pride of place in a Perthshire market town.
The spectacular “leafy” Highland Cows — named Flora, Burrell and little Beagan — have been moo-ved into position in Crieff centre, ahead of an official unveiling later this year.
The £30,000 art project was commissioned by local voluntary group Crieff in Leaf and created by blacksmith Kevin Paxton.
Money for the Burrell Square scheme was raised through grants, donations and sponsorship, with residents given the chance to buy the individual leaves that make up the artwork.
A ceremony to welcome them to the town will be held at midday on Saturday, October 6.
