There’s nobody quite like mum – and that’s why treating her is more important.
Mothers Day (on Sunday 22 March) is the time to treat the mums in our lives as a way to show just how much we appreciate everything they do for us.
Whether it’s a beautiful meal, a gift or a special day out, your mum will love their gift.
Cairn Lodge
Celebrate Mother’s Day in the Cairn Lodge’s beautiful Garden Room Restaurant.
A special menu is available from noon on Sunday 22 March because mum is always worth it.
Set in the lovely village of Auchterarder in the heart of Perthshire, this family-owned hotel has undergone an extensive refurbishment to create an experience for guests which blends contemporary, designer décor with homely warmth.
Built in 1903 as a hunting lodge, there are 10 individually designed bedrooms and a fully-equipped luxury four bedroom self-catering lodge for those special family getaways.
Whatever the reason for your visit, the hotel seeks to exceed your expectations and offer the very best of Scottish hospitality.
The hotel is easily recognisable with its Jubilee Cairn standing proudly at its entrance, thought to be built to draw attention to the building.

Jeet
Why not spoil Mum this Mother’s Day with a visit to recently opened Indian restaurant Jeet in Forfar, which is owned by three childhood friends.
Lawrence, the restaurant’s manager, explained: “Jeet really is a family business; the three of us have been in the hospitality industry for nearly 25 years.
“Since opening in October, we have been doing things a bit different, we are using fish in more of our dishes and we have items on the menu that are unique to us.
“But of course we have traditional dishes too, like korma.
“We also have vegan and vegetarian options, and can work with customers to accommodate any food allergies.”
But it’s not just about the food, the Jeet team is keen to be involved in the town.
“Our motto is, ‘serving the community with care and quality’ and we are making inroads to being more involved in the community. We are also working on reducing waste.”
Jeet is open Sunday to Thursday for sit in, takeaway or delivery (lunchtime opening on Friday and Saturday only, with a special three course menu) until 10.30pm.
