SPONSORED: Scone Palace invites you to the UK’s first ever drive-in variety show

Scone Palace.
Scone Palace.

Revival is coming to an outdoor space near you as Scone Palace, just outside Perthshire, gets ready to stage this one off event – the UK’s first drive-in variety show based.

We may have enjoyed a drive-in movie in the past, but this is something completely different as you and your family and friends will be entertained by a live performance.

There will be 12 shows being staged at Scone Palace over the last three weekends of August (15th & 16th, 22nd & 23rd and 29th & 30th).

This is your chance to be part of something groundbreaking as it the first time an event of its kind has not only been held in Scotland, but anywhere in the UK!

Called Revival, the 90-minute shows are set to be a unique night showcasing Scotland’s best talent all viewed from the comfort of your car, with performances from Scottish comedian and singer Clark Stewart, world-class vocalists, magicians and dancers.

Revival is brought to you by Rosie Glow Productions, a company that is passionate about giving back to the community and supporting the arts. So if you are looking for something new and exciting to do as a family, while supporting Scottish organisations, Revival is the event for you.

The team at Rosie Glow Productions cannot wait for the show

Organiser Rosie Glow Productions describes the show as: “a high-energy drive-in variety show filled with non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour and variety, all from the safety of your own car and completely adhering to Scotland’s social distancing guidelines”.

Every one of the performers are those whose careers have been hit by the coronavirus pandemic, including compere Clark Stewart, magician Delores Deluxe, singers Victoria Compson-Bradford and Jamie Crockart, and dancers Rohanne Compson-Bradford, Stephanie Rae, Eilidh McCall, Ciara Farrelly.

Organiser Harriet Compson-Bradford of Rosie Glow Productions explained: “Within this cast we have a 2020 graduate who had to stop training, people who have been sent home of cruise ships, even our singer Jamie has had to postpone his wedding, Victoria and Rohanne both have had to move home, Everyone in this cast has felt the effects from Covid-19 and we are just so happy to give them the chance to perform again.”

A percentage of Revival’s profits will go towards arts charity, Acting 4 Others, a collaboration of 14 charities that spans across the large segment of the arts.

And in a bid to help local businesses across a range of industries, including the arts, Revival organisers Rosie Glow Productions are also offering free advertising space to local businesses on its LED screen.

Tickets for Revival start at £35 for one car and the driver then £10 per head thereafter. VIP tickets, which include one car with up to five people and the best view of both stage and screen, cost £85.
