It wasn’t just the bold choice of a grey T-shirt that made Joachim Low stand out in Germany’s Euro 2016 opener against Ukraine.
During the world champions’ 2-0 victory, thanks to goals from Shkodran Mustafi and Bastian Schweinsteiger, Low did something rather strange to do on the side of a football pitch.
The Germany coach placed his hand down his trousers, before taking a seat on the bench and having a whiff.
It’s not the first time he’s been spotted doing something strange in the dugout. He’s proven a couple of times bogies are not off the menu.
In fact, it’s not even the first time he’s been caught smelling a body part. But who are we to judge the methods of a World Cup winning coach? As you were, Jogi.//
