It’s Friday and what better way to get in the mood for the weekend than a trip to the pub?

Dundee has had countless through the years, many which have since closed down.

Here we are taking a trip down memory lane looking at just some of the old pubs which are no longer there.

See if you can remember any of these classic boozers from back in the day?

The central bar area in Sinatra's, on King Street. The building will now be transformed into housing after plans were recently approved.

The Breadalbane Arms, more commonly known as The Bothy or The Bread, on Constitution Road (1979). The building has since been knocked down and the space is now part of Abertay University.

The former Swan Tavern in the Overgate.
The last of the Swan Tavern during its deomolition in 1963. It sat at the junction of Barrack Street and the Overgate.
