Ahead of the school holidays, new research by travel site Kiwi.com reveals the frustration of British parents on term-time holidays and the rising costs of school holiday flights.
A poll of 1000 parents with children aged 4-16 and in school reveals some interesting stats:
Almost two-thirds (65%) of British parents disagreed with the ruling, saying it was unfair on the parent
Over half of parents have taken their child out of school and half of those would risk it again
Parents say they save on average £686 booking holidays during term time
Just under half (48%) reveal that it’s not just price that affect them, they’re competing with other colleagues to take off the same holiday dates, causing argument, being bullied and have even considered leaving their jobs.
