A sculptor who studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design is exhibiting at the Wasps studios in Meadowmills, Dundee, until Thursday May 24.
Trevor Gordon, who is originally from Keith in Moray, has been living in Dundee since 1996.
He graduated from DJCAD with a BA Honours in Fine Art followed by a Masters in Fine Art in 2006.
He has worked in his own studio at Wasps since 2006 where he works primarily in sculpture and “general nonsense making”.
He specialises in “unusual and unearthly art works”.
Speaking from his studio where he has “donned a freshly ironed boiler suit and a buzz-cut to deter hair-lice”, Trevor described the creative process.
“I have one tonne of artisanal clay, a five-foot stack of newspaper, 100 hog’s hair paintbrushes and 70 tins of paint in a variety of hues of black.
“I have a further 36 aerosol cans of shellac for fine finishes – and to help me sleep!”
