The sun is shining and you’re in the mood for an alfresco drink with your friends and family but you’re not sure where to go.
Well, you’ve come to the right place as The Courier and Evening Telegraph Food and Drink Team has composed the perfect guide to some of the best local beer gardens open for business.
Our interactive map gives you all you need to know – like whether you can take your children and pet dog, or what food and drink is on offer at each business – on the most popular pubs in Dundee and Fife.
With around 50 restaurants, bars and pubs all featured on the interactive map, there’s plenty of establishments to check out with family and/or friends.

We don’t recommend you try them all at once, but we’ve included a whole heap of independent firms on the map, so do be sure to pay some of them a visit if you can.
There’s also some chain establishments on there too for good measure.
If you are heading out to enjoy the nice weather and some alfresco drinking and dining, we would certainly recommend booking a table in advance as we all know that as soon as the sun comes out, the beer gardens fill up.
