Old Course Hotel – St Andrews
Served either in the conservatory or on the fourth floor of the venue, you can take in the stunning views at the Old Course Hotel as you indulge in the extravagant offering.
With an array of homemade finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam and a selection of indulgent seasonal cakes and pastries all with a festive theme for the holiday season, this experience is available seven days a week and served from 1pm to 3:45pm.
This afternoon tea is £32.50 per person and it can be upgraded to £45.50 to enjoy some Laurent-Perrier Champagne on the side. A children’s afternoon tea is also available for £16.25.

Fairmont – St Andrews
Priced at £40 per person, the Fairmont in St Andrews hosts guests for afternoon tea in The Atrium Lounge from Thursday to Sunday between 1-3.30pm.
You can expect freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam as well as savoury dishes of peppered mackerel pate, goat cheese croquette and a smoked haddock and leek tart.
Afternoon treats include strawberry and lemon mousse, chocolate and apricot sponge cake and a passionfruit and raspberry cremeux. The afternoon is then topped off with a Victoria sponge cake and Dundee cake.

Rufflets – St Andrews
The Rufflets afternoon tea experience, costing £29.50 per person for a standard tea, is a special treat suitable for all ages. For £36.50 you can add a “sparkling” tea, and if you’d prefer Champagne, the experience will cost you £39.50.
You can tuck into delicate patisserie treats as well as finger sandwiches packed with filling and a range of teas and coffees.
The afternoon tea can be enjoyed almost anywhere including inside a cosy restaurant booth, outside on the suntrap terrace, next to the croquet lawn or in the dappled shade of their woodlands. However, if you’re looking to stay cosy we highly recommend a table beside their fireplace.
Afternoon tea is served seven days a week from 2-4.30pm with booking being essential.

Falkland Estate – Falkland
Falkland Estate are offering their festive afternoon tea experience on November 26 from 2-4pm.
Priced at £90 for six people, the venue has a limited number of horse stall booths where you can enjoy an afternoon tea filled with seasonal treats to kick start your Christmas celebrations.
As the log fire crackles away, you and your friends can enjoy a mixture of sandwiches, scones and bakes with hot drinks included.

The Old Manor Hotel – Leven
The Old Manor Hotel in Leven will run their festive afternoon tea from December 1 to 23.
Served in The Sea View Restaurant or lounge, the experience is £19.95 per person and is available seven days a week from 1-4pm but must be booked. You also get a Christmas cocktail or glass of fizz included in the price.
Finger sandwich flavours such as turkey and cranberry, roast beef, salad and horseradish and roasted vegetables with mozzarella all feature.
You can also enjoy scones and some sweet treats of chocolate chestnut brownies, coconut snowballs, and mini mince pies to really finish the offering off in style.

Balbirnie House – Markinch
If you like to enjoy your afternoon teas in the most beautiful of settings, Balbirnie House in Markinch offers their guests an indulgent experience in their very own Orangery restaurant.
Open seven days a week between noon and 3pm, indulge in array of dishes that are all included in your traditional afternoon tea. It costs £19.95 per person, £24.95 for sparkling and £28.95 per person with Champagne.
Balbirnie serve a mixture of finger sandwiches, banoffee scones, mocha choux buns and carrot cake as part of their sweet treat menu, and they also cater for vegetarian and gluten-free diets.

Maria’s Baking Stories – Kirkcaldy
If you would prefer to order a festive afternoon tea to enjoy at home, Maria’s Baking Stories in Kirkcaldy is offering a Christmas Eve afternoon tea priced at £16 per person, with a minimum order for two people.
The box contains a range of savoury and sweet dishes based on traditional Greek and Cypriot recipes including sausage rolls, feta pie, Greek pitta bread and tzatziki dip.
For those with a sweet tooth, the options include macarons, tiramisu trifle, Biscoff truffles, chocolate covered strawberries and a chocolate square cake.
The boxes can be collected from the office location in Kirkcaldy, or delivered to Fife locations including Glenrothes, Leven, Methil, Lochgelly, Kinghorn, Burntisland, Thornton, Cowdenbeath and Dunfermline.
