Our Kiltwalk Heroes have crossed the finish line, having hiked 26, 11 or three miles.

And as they set off, strode through Fife, Dundee and Angus and crossed the finish line line in Monifieth our photographer was there to capture it.

Around 2,300 people completed the Mighty Stride, starting in St Andrews, the Big Stroll, from Tayport, and the Wee Wander, from Broughty Ferry.

They will have raised a yet unknown six-figure sum for around 300 charities.

As they sit back and revel in the glory of their achievement, you can have a look through our snaps to see some of the best moments of a special day.

Don’t forget to pick up a copy of Monday’s Evening Telegraph for the Dundee Kiltwalk 2022 roll of honour.
