The Ideal Home Show Scotland is back and bigger than ever!
Whether you are redecorating the whole house or just looking for some inspiration for your kitchen, bedroom or bathroom, there are hundreds of exhibitors, demonstrations and talks lined up for the four day event (May 27 to 30) at the SECC in Glasgow.
And in a first for the annual event, visitors can experience The ARC by Green Unit. A must-see for anyone who would like a home that can earn money by selling energy back to the grid; The ARC is made from individual modules which can be configured and designed in many different ways.
For those looking for advice, the Ideal Super Theatre is the centrepiece of the exhibition.
Representing each section of the show, the theatre will host talks and demonstrations from the nation’s most loved home experts. With everything from gardening advice to renovation and planning tips, the theatre will be the ultimate place to pick up the handy hints to improve your home.
And for those dinner party hosts, some of the nation’s best chefs will be sharing their culinary tips for dishes that will wow your guests.
Charity Erskine, who are celebrating their 100th birthday this year, will be at the Ideal Home Show Scotland and will once again create this year’s show garden that will be on display. Their garden will give a nod to their humble beginnings and involvements with the Yarrow shipyards on the Clyde.
The room sets, designed by John Amabile, will put ideas into life and allow visitors to stand in the space and get a feel for the colours and furniture.
And if all this inspiration works up your appetite, you can stop in at the Gregg Wallace Restaurant, which will feature an exciting new menu of tasty delights. Designed by Food and Drink ambassador Gregg Wallace, the lunch menu will give visitors a fantastic choice of fine dining or afternoon tea.
