Quite fancy a Ford GT but haven’t finished saving up £300,00 for one yet?
Not to worry. Ford has announced it’s extending production of its supercar by two whole years, giving you plenty of time to put the money together.
The order books for the Ford GT were originally opened and closed in just a few weeks earlier this year, when Ford received more than 6,500 applications from would-be owners. There are 500 applications from the UK but that’s likely to go up.
The two-seat GT is powered by a twin-turbo 3.5 litre V6 producing a hefty 630bhp.
Ford has stayed tight lipped on performance but it won’t be slow.
When it arrives, the Ford GT will be the most sophisticated, fastest and most expensive car ever to wear the famous blue oval badge.
