Hyundai has announced pricing and specifications for its all-new i30 hatchback, which goes on sale on March 1.
There are five different specification levels available on the i30: S, SE, SE Nav, Premium and Premium SE.
Pricing for the entry-level S model with a 1.0-litre, 118bhp petrol engine starts at £16,995, while the top-of-the-line Premium SE with a 1.6-litre, 109bhp diesel engine and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission will cost £24,745.
Cars in SE trim are priced from £18,695, while i30s in SE Nav specification will cost upwards of £19,645. Prices for Premium specification vehicles start at £22,195.
There’s a choice of one diesel and two petrol engines, as well as either a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The sole diesel engine is a 1.6-litre CRDi unit that produces 109bhp. In terms of petrol engines, customers will be able to choose between either a 1.0-litre T-GDi unit that puts out 118bhp, or a 1.4-litre T-GDi that develops 138bhp.
The entire range of i30s offer a high level of standard safety equipment that includes lane departure warning, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking and hill start assist systems.
In terms of standard features, S-specification i30s get 15-inch alloys, LED daytime running lights, DAB radio and Bluetooth, auxiliary and USB connectivity.

Dubbed Trek-1° – a reference to the longitude of the Navarre desert in Spain – the newcomer differentiates itself from the top-spec Tekna with a range of extra equipment.
Only 1,500 examples will be built, each featuring black sport styling bars behind the cab, two forward-facing LED spot lamps and black side bars. A new load bed cover and black 18-inch alloy wheels round off the external modifications.
