Hyundai’s new plug-in hybrid, the Ioniq, will cost from £24,995.
Available from dealerships from July 13, the plug in hybrid is the third and final variant of the Ioniq line-up. Prices include thegovernment’s £2,500 plug-in car grant.
Offering up to 39 miles of pure electric driving, it combines a 105 ho 1.6-litre petrol engine and a 61 hp electric motor, driven through a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. It’s available in Premium and Premium SE specification.
All models come with 16-inch alloy wheels plus an eight-inch infotainment system with sat-nav, Bluetooth and Apple Car Play and Android Auto all supported.
Other standard features include wireless phone charging, a rear parking camera, lane keep assist and autonomous emergency braking.
