Three years after it was launched, Citroen has revamped its C4 Cactus.
The most obvious change is the removal of the weird egg box strips along the side.
Called “Airbumps” by Citroen, they were designed to protect the car from car park bumps and scrapes but they weren’t much bonnier than having a few scratches and dings on the side of your car.
Other styling changes include a reworked front bumper with new LED running lights, a new rear bumper and restyled rear lights.
Inside, the seats have been given more padding and there’s extra sound insulation to keep things quiet.
The entry level petrol engine has been dropped and there’s a new 130bhp petrol unit towards the top of the range. A new diesel will be added next year.
Prices for the updated C4 Cactus haven’t been released yet but expect them to range from the £17,000 to £22,000 band or thereabouts.
