Renault’s updated Zoe electric car gets a power upgrade.
A new motor boosts power by 16bhp without sacrificing range.
Renault claims the Zoe can do 186 miles between charges in real world driving which, it says, is the longest range of any mainstream electric car.
Prices start at £18,240 – an increase of £250 over the outgoing model.
The Zoe continues to be available for purchase in two ways. There’s a battery hire scheme, where pricing starts at £18,240 after the Government Plug-in Car Grant, with battery leasing from £59 per month.
You can also buy the Zoe outright. Zoe i ‘full purchase’ models start from £24,020 after the grant, eliminating the monthly battery lease payments.
