Fiat’s tiny hot hatch, the Abarth 595, has been updated for the 2019 model year.
A new front bumper features an enlarged front air scoop, which not only looks more aggressive but is claimed to increase engine cooling by up to 18 per cent.
As before, the 595 is offered in four trim levels in Great Britain: 595, 595 Trofeo, 595 Turismo, and 595 Competizione, and two body styles – hatchback and convertible.
All come with a 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol engine in one of four strengths – 138bhp, 158bhp, 163bhp and 178bhp. The fastest models do the 0-62mph sprint in 6.7 seconds.
The Abarth 595 range starts at £15,980 for the entry level 595 manual, topping out at £24,360 for the drop-top 595C Competizione.
