Volkswagen has launched a special edition of its Amarok pickup truck.
The Aventura ups the luxury in the company’s premium pickup.
It comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, a body-coloured sports bar with Aventura badging, chrome-plated side bars with step and LED spot lighting.
The interior is fitted with 14-way adjustment ErgoComfort seats trimmed in Nappa leather, a leather multi-function steering wheel with paddle shifts, Volkswagen’s Discover Media Navigation system and exclusive floor mats. Bolstering its practical capabilities are under-body cladding, power-folding mirrors and protective coating for the load bay.
Under the bonnet is the Amarok’s most powerful engine – a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine developing 255bhp and 580Nm of torque, and paired with an eight-speed auto transmission. With its overboost function, the engine produces 268bhp.
