Kia has announced pricing and specifications for its new e-Niro.
The all-electric SUV will cost from £32,995 after the UK government’s electric car grant has been taken into account.
It has one of the longest ranges of any electric car currently on the market. Under the new and much more realistic WLTP test it can cover 282 miles between charges. That’s more than Teslas costing twice as much can manage.
Using a fast charger it can be recharged to 80% battery in under an hour. Subtle styling changes improve aerodynamics and boost range.
There’s a single, well equipped model available. The e-Niro goes on sale on April 1.
