Kia has updated the plug-in hybrid version of its Optima estate car.
It has a fully electric range of 33 miles and combined fuel economy of 188mpg on the new WLTP cycle, which is designed to better reflect real-world driving.
The 2019 updates also include revised exterior styling: Optima Sportswagon PHEV will feature a redesigned lower front bumper, with the addition of LED daytime running lights, and new allow wheels.
There are PHEV and PHEV Plus models to choose from, priced £34,995 and £38,995 respectively.
The latter gets leather seats, panoramic sunroof. hydrophobic front glass, a smart powered tailgate, ventilated front seats, Smart Park Assist System, auto high beam and a wireless mobile phone charger.
