Mitsubish has updated its Mirage – and slashed £1,000 of the price.
The entry level version of Mitsubishi’s Fiesta rival now starts from £11,295. That’s around £2,00 less than Ford’s star supermini.
The car’s 1.2 litre, three-cylinder petrol engine has been re-engineered to meet new real-world-driving regulations.
It now emits 107g/km of CO2 and returns 60.1mpg. Power out put is fairly reasonable too, at 79bhp.
Entry level cars have 14in alloy wheels, boot spoiler, auto wipers, air conditioning, bluetooth, keyless entry and go, leather steering wheel and stop-start.
Top spec Mirage 4 models add bi-xenon headlights, DAB radio, 15in alloy wheels, heated seats, parking sensors and a touchscreen infotainment system.
