The new DS 3 Crossback has been revealed ahead of its arrival in UK showrooms this May.
Priced from £21,550, the DS 3 Crossback is the latest SUV to feature in the French manufacturer’s range of cars.
It’ll be available initially with the choice between three petrol and one diesel engine, though an electric version is expected to arrive later in the year.
Petrol engine power outputs will range from 99bhp to 148bhp, while the sole diesel produces 98bhp. Lower-powered versions will utilise a six-speed manual gearbox, with punchier versions sending drive through an automatic gearbox.
All models in the range get a decent standard of equipment, with base-specification Elegance models benefiting from parking sensors, keyless entry and a seven-inch touchscreen system. Elegance prices start from £21,550.
Performance Line cars get a sportier exterior design, along with seats finished in Alcantara – though prices bump up to £22,950.
Upgrade to Prestige specification and customers will find climate control, automatic windscreen wipers, leather upholstery and a 10in infotainment system added to the car’s list of standard equipment. Prestige models start at £24,950.
Range-topping Ultra Prestige cars are fitted with a reversing camera, head-up display, matrix LED headlights and heated front seats with massage function. These command a £30,950 price tag.
They’re joined by a special launch edition called La Premiere which benefits from 18in diamond-cut alloy wheels, and DS’ full Drive Assist system, which has active cruise control and lane keeping assist. La Premiere models cost from £32,450.
The all-electric version, called the DS 3 Crossback E-Tense, will use a 100kW motor to offer 186 miles of range under new WLTP test cycles. In addition, it’ll hit 60mph in a brisk 8.5 seconds.
