The F8 Spider was revealed on Sunday and replaces the 488 Spider in the Italian supercar maker’s line up.
Power comes from a twin-turbocharged, 3.9-litre V8, tuned to produce 710bhp and 568lb ft of torque.
That’s 49bhp more than the 488 Spider, and the F8 Spider is 20kg lighter.
The folding canvas top can be retracted or deployed in just 14 seconds at speeds of up to 28mph.
The F8 Spider is no slouch, dashing from 0-62mph in just 2.9 seconds. Top speed is 211mph. That’s a gain of 8mph over the outgoing car’s 203mph and is largely down to improvements in aerodynamics.
If you want one expect to pay around £210,000.
