Anyone who hasn’t yet put forward their nominations for the Kingdom FM Local Hero Awards is being urged to do so now.
The nominations for the ninth annual awards ceremony, again co-sponsored by The Courier, close on Saturday April 30.
Kingdom FM station manager Darren Stenhouse said: “There’s been a superb response from Fifers so far.
“Nominations are on par with the volume of nominations around this time last year but it’s important that if any Courier readers are thinking about nominating that they do nominate.
“Don’t let your local hero miss out on a nomination because you think that your nomination doesn’t count – it does!
“The independent judging panel are looking forward to reading all of the nominations and judging gets under way in early May 2016.
“From my perspective, the key point to get across is ‘nominate now’. I’d love to see a flurry of new nominations!”
The 2016 awards were officially launched in February, with a glitzy awards night set to take place in the Rothes Halls in Glenrothes at the end of August.
Mr Stenhouse said the award ceremony promises to be the “best yet with brilliant, world class, entertainment for our nominees and invited guests already confirmed.”
